Staircase Wedding ceremony at Ashridge House

Choosing the grand staircase at Ashridge House for their wedding ceremony was an easy decision for our couple. Its towering presence created an ambiance of enchantment and elegance perfectly suited to their vision of a dreamy autumn wedding. This iconic spot offers not only a breath-taking setting for saying “I do” but also ensures that every guest has a front-row view of the special moment. With its majestic architecture and grand entrance, the staircase provided a picture-perfect backdrop for their vows.

Our couple’s Ashridge House wedding ceremony styling: The staircase balustrade was adorned with our spectacular hanging fairy lights which added warm and a wow factor to the room. The steps in front of guests were dressed with mixed Eucalyptus and Italian Ruscus foliage garlands with pillar candles nestled in.

The Lady Marion Alford Room

The Lady Marion Alford room is well known for being a majestic space. With the grandeur of marbled fireplaces, intricate gilding, elaborate window dressings and exquisite detailing. It provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable wedding breakfast.

For their wedding breakfast in the Lady Marion Alford room, our couple was envisioning a tablescape that echoed the sophistication and romance of their ceremony. They opted for contemporary low GAIA vessels adorned with textured floral arrangements, harmonizing with the venue aesthetics. Each table boasting a centrepiece that was a playful collection of deep pomegranate, burgundy, and wine red tones, accentuated by delicate dusky pinks and ivory shades. Surrounding the focal arrangements were bud vases filled with complementary accent flowers. Lastly, votive tea lights added a soft, ambient glow, completing the tableau.
